Works as advertised, I needed a audio recorder app for my Mac, and Simple Recorder did the trick.

Why not just use Quicktime Player if you want to make an audio recording from your microphone? I was looking for an app to record system sounds. This just records from your mic. Waste of time.

Based on experience with numerous other recording Apps (close to all that are available), this is the most user-friendly and has become our default recorder. The following upgrades are recommended: - ISO format dates (YYYY-MM-DD) - No underscores in file names (single spaces instead) - Don’t open Finder window after saving - In Preferences provid option for "One-click recording"

I never thought there was a recode app for Mac but here it goes! i really thank to the developer and I’m sure this will be so much useful to do all the stuffs with Mac

Works and is simple

not useful for meeting notes b/c it lets the comp go to sleep, cutting of the recording. otherwise it works fine.

Very nice, light weight, and great quality recording software. I have a 15’’ 2015 MacBook Pro and have been using this app to record scratch audio for films. It’s a great tool that works quickly and delivers very reasonable recording quality. Thanks!
